A$55 per clinic/month after a 14-day free trial. Card required to start the trial. Cancel any time.

What it does

Staff and credentials

Track registration, indemnity, CPR and other credential expiry dates for each practitioner and staff member, with reminders before they lapse.

Equipment

Record service and calibration dates for discipline-specific equipment and get reminded when they fall due.

Incidents, policies and risks

Log incidents, keep policies with staff sign-offs, and review risks on a schedule.

Meetings, key dates and tasks

Plan meetings with agendas, record minutes and see who has read them. Key dates and recurring tasks keep renewals and BAS-type deadlines in front of you.

The specialist demo shows a sample practice with cardiology, orthopaedics and gastroenterology staff, equipment, prep cards and booking notes. Choose Specialist as your practice type and clinic-admin hides items that only apply to GP practices.

What it does not do

No patient records

It is not clinical or practice-management software. It holds no patient names, Medicare numbers or clinical notes.

No billing or referrals

It does not bill Medicare or manage referral letters. Keep using your practice-management system for those.

No payroll

It can remind you of pay runs and new-starter bank details, but it stores no pay amounts or bank numbers.

No accreditation guarantee

It helps you keep evidence organised. It does not certify that you meet any standard.

Accreditation, honestly

Accreditation depends on what your clinic does. Specialist consulting rooms are not covered by the RACGP scheme. If you offer day procedures, the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care and state licensing can apply. Your professional college sets its own CPD requirements. Check with your college and your accreditor, and use clinic-admin to keep the evidence tidy. Our specialist setup checklist goes through this in more detail.

Dental practices have different regulators and standards. clinic-admin is built for GP, specialist and allied-health clinics. If you run a dental practice, tell us what you need before you start a trial.

Common questions

Does it replace our practice-management software?

No. It sits beside it and covers staff, equipment, policies, incidents, meetings and deadlines.

Is patient information stored?

No. Do not enter patient names, Medicare numbers or clinical notes. The portal says so at the top of every screen.

We are a small team. Is it too much?

You only use what you need. Pin the three or four tools you use weekly and ignore the rest.

How do staff see meetings and minutes?

Invited staff see the next meeting on their Overview, can add agenda items, and tick that they have read the minutes. You can see who has not.

What does it cost?

A$55 per clinic per month after a 14-day free trial. Each extra clinic is billed separately. Cancel any time.

Who helps us set up?
